Housing and Residence Life
We guarantee on-campus housing for every student for four years. All residence hall rooms are wired for computer access. There are four residence halls, one which is for women only. Options include double rooms, single rooms, and suites. We match roommates carefully and offer many of the conveniences of home:

Every room comes equipped with computer jacks, telephones with local service, voicemail, e-mail, and cable TV hookups. All the residence halls are within short walking distance from classroom buildings and other facilities. American and international students live together and learn cultural differences and similarities from one another. Our students
develop cross-cultural and leadership skills by participating in various programs organized by Residence Life!
Alumni Hall Student Center
Alumni Hall is the university’s community center for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests. The Student Center hosts various student activities, student
organization offices and conference rooms. It also houses the main campus bookstore and Jazzman’s Cafe.
Campus Life
We are devoted to creating a campus where students can get involved in various activities and become leaders. We encourage all of our students to participate in student organizations and activities to enrich their college experience. There are over 100 student clubs and organizations, including the Mansfield International Student
Organization (MISO), Latino Student Organization, Student Government, Travel Club, Club Canada, Black Student Union and many more!
Academic Advising
International students will be assigned an academic advisor in addition to an international advisor. An advisor helps you plan your academic progress. The goal of the Advising Center is to serve as a resource area and to help you adjust to college.
The Learning Center
The Learning Center offers tutorial assistance and professional consultation for students who wish to improve basic reading, writing, computational and computer skills – or to extend their knowledge in academic content areas.
Multicultural Affairs
The center is dedicated to the advancement of
diversity at Mansfield University. The Director of Multicultural Affairs serves as International Student Advisor and helps international students with any problems or questions when they arrive.
